In terms of seaports, highlighting the country\u2019s success in developing ports over the past 20 years, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Nhat presided over a workshop on master planning for the development of Vietnam's seaport system in the period of 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050 on December 30, 2020, and the Ministry of Transport said that it plans to invest between approximately $6 and $8 billion by 2030 in the next phase of port development and to increase annual cargo capacity to 1.14-1.42 billion tons.<\/h6>\n
