Randall S. Kroszner is the Norman R. Bobins Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Previously, he served as a governor of the US Federal Reserve System, where took a leading role in developing responses to the financial crisis. Professor Kroszner represented the Fed on the Financial Stability Board and the Basel Committee and chaired the OECD working on international macro policy. He has also served as a member of the US President\u2019s Council of Economic Advisers. Professor Kroszner is the vice chair of the Financial Research Advisory Committee in the Office of Financial Research at the US Treasury and is a member of the board of the Paulson Institute, the CME Group Competitive Markets Advisory Council, and the World Economic Forum\u2019s Global Agenda Council. He consults with financial institutions, government organizations, and central banks throughout the world. Professor Kroszner received a ScB from Brown University and a PhD from Harvard University.<\/p>\n
